Traveling the High Way Home The legendary bluegrass performer Ralph Stanley is the subject of John Wright`s oral history, TRAVELING THE HIGH WAY HOME, which explores not only Stanley`s remarkable contribution to bluegrass music in over a half-century of performance, but also the musician`s roots in the West Virginia travel company jobs and Appalachian mountain communities from which he travel company jobs and his brother Carter Stanley emerged in the late 1940s.
